Punjab Highways Dept. Tender — Provision of Solar Lights, Vehari (EE No.1600/DB)

Issuer: Punjab Highways Department — Executive Engineer Highway Division, Vehari. Tenders invited via the Punjab e-Procurement System for the following works. Firms/contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category with a valid renewed PEC license for the stated financial year may participate. Registration and bidding must be completed online at https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk.

Key conditions:

• Bid Security: 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted only through the Punjab e-Procurement System (digital online payment link with Bank of Punjab) in favour of Executive Engineer Highways Division Vehari. Physical bid securities (CDR, pay order, demand draft, etc.) will not be accepted.
• Performance Security: Lowest evaluated bidder must submit performance security equal to 10% of the contract amount through the Punjab e-Procurement System; physical banking instruments will not be accepted.
• Bids must quote rates per item and the total. In case of arithmetic discrepancies, item rates will govern. Percentage rates above/below DNIT/estimated cost will not be considered.
• Submission of false documents (e.g., PEC license) will lead to disqualification and disciplinary proceedings under PPRA rules. The competent authority may reject any or all bids per PPRA Rules.
• Construction requirements: Rigid pavement/RCC drain works to use concrete batching plant and paving machine; testing/surfacing to be executed mechanized. Claims and measurements to be submitted electronically and processed via Digital Measurement Book.

Attendance: Contractors may attend the office of the Executive Engineer Multan Division, Multan, at the time of bid opening; successful bidders’ rates will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.
