Punjab Highways Department Tender — Highway Division Jhang (Rehabilitation of Road, 2.30 km)

Issuer: Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Jhang (Punjab Highways Department) invites e-tenders from registered Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) contractors/firms for a road rehabilitation scheme under Own Source Receipts Schemes. Participation and submission are through Punjab e‑Procurement/PPRA online system.

Key conditions:

• Only firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category/code and holding a valid renewed PEC licence for Financial Year 2026-27 may participate.
• Contractors/firms must be registered on the Punjab PPRA/e‑Procurement website.
• Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost must be submitted via digital online payment through the Punjab e‑Procurement System in favour of Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Jhang. Physical bid securities (CDR, pay order, draft, cashier cheque etc.) will not be accepted.
• As per PPRA Clause 56, the lowest evaluated bidder shall submit Performance Security/Guarantee of 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the letter, via digital online payment through the Punjab e‑Procurement System.
• Bidders must upload bids on the e‑Procurement system; rates quoted in percentage above or below the estimated cost will render the bid non-responsive. False information or forged documents may lead to disqualification and action under rules.
• All other bidding terms and conditions (document availability, bid validity, tax/registration proofs, etc.) shall follow PPRA and department rules; bidders should consult the e‑procurement notice and PPRA website for full details.
