Islamabad Club invites applications for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the Club’s finance function, safeguard financial integrity and support long-term financial sustainability.

Contract 3 years (extendable for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance)
Reports to Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Key responsibilities
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and overall financial strategy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and laws.
  • Manage member billing, subscriptions, receivables and recovery of outstanding dues.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury, investments of Club funds and banking relationships.
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls over F&B, rooms, stores, sports and event revenues; liaise with external auditors and Head of Internal Audit.
  • Ensure tax compliance (income tax, sales tax on services, withholding) and other statutory filings.
  • Provide financial analysis and MIS to the CEO, Finance Committee and Board and lead departmental profitability and costing.
  • Develop and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, ACMA or CPA (mandatory).
  • MBA (Finance) from an HEC-recognized university is desirable.
Experience
  • Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience with at least 5 years as CFO, Finance Director or Head of Finance.
  • Experience in hospitality, a members' club or a not-for-profit organization will be considered an advantage.
  • Working experience with FBR/hospitality accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Odoo, Oracle or similar).
Terms & benefits Appointment is contractual and not regularizable; competitive market compensation and Club privileges commensurate with qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA admissible. Islamabad Club is an equal opportunity employer.
