Islamabad Club invites applications for the position of Head of Internal Audit to lead the Club’s internal audit function and provide objective assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls. The role reports to the Finance & Audit Committee and is based in Islamabad. Contract: 3 years (extendable for 2 years).

| Key responsibilities | Plan and execute a risk-based annual internal audit plan; conduct financial, operational, compliance and IT audits across departments (F&B, rooms, stores, sports, golf, events); evaluate internal controls, SOPs and delegation of financial powers; review procurement, vendor contracts, payroll and membership receivables for compliance and value for money; conduct surprise inspections, stock and cash counts; investigate irregularities and suspected fraud; report findings and track implementation of management action plans; coordinate with external auditors and lead the Internal Audit team in line with IIA standards. |
| Qualifications | Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), ACCA, ACMA or CPA (mandatory). MBA (Finance) from an HEC-recognized university is considered an additional advantage. |
| Experience | Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in internal audit, risk or assurance, including at least 5 years as Head of Internal Audit / Chief Internal Auditor or equivalent. Audit experience in hospitality, members' club or not-for-profit organizations and ERP system experience (SAP, Odoo, Oracle, Opera) preferred. |
