MES Tender: Pre-Qualification of Firms/Contractors for Facilities & Furniture (Ref No 6900/CK, CP & Isld/Lhr/E-6)

Headquarters DW&CE (Navy), Military Engineer Services (MES) invites applications for pre-qualification of firms/contractors and issuance of tenders for provision of facilities and furniture at multiple locations. Pre-qualification and issuance of tenders will be conducted under PPRA rules.

Eligibility and required documents:

• Firms enlisted with MES in categories 'A' or 'B' or firms from other government departments with relevant experience of the last five years may apply.

• Applicants must submit a company profile with: description of similar works completed/ongoing in the last five years (including sponsoring agency, cost and performance report); list of personnel and engineers with valid PEC numbers; details of tools, plants & machinery; bank statements for the last two years; NTN, FBR documents, PEC and MES registration certificates.

Application and bid conditions:

• Firms will be issued tender documents after pre-qualification. Applicants must deposit bid security equal to 2% of the estimated cost in favour of DW&CE (Navy) Islamabad with their tender documents as per Clause-25 of the PPRA Procurement Code (4th Edition).

• Tenders must be received at HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad by 11:30 hours on the closing date and will be opened the same day at 12:00 hours.

• Bids will be evaluated against published criteria. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
