Call for Articles — Directorate of Information (Publications), Government of Sindh for Monthly Paigham, Monthly Izhar and Special Editions 2026–27

The Directorate of Information (Publications), Information Department, Government of Sindh invites articles, essays and other quality writings from writers, scholars, researchers and contributors for Monthly Paigham (Sindhi), Monthly Izhar (Urdu) and special editions during the financial year 2026–27.

Requested themes include the development portfolio of Sindh, schemes, projects and programmes, research-based articles/features on socio-economic progress, cultural heritage of Sindh (including cultural sites), and profiles of literary figures and famous personalities. Special issue themes will mark the annual Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Sachal Sarmast and Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, as well as 14th August (Independence Day), 23rd March (Pakistan Day) and Kashmir Day and the Kashmir cause.

All submissions will be assessed for quality, originality, relevance and suitability. Selected contributions will be published with the approval of the Editorial & Content Board (ECB) and in accordance with the SOP approved by the competent authority. Selected writers will receive remuneration at rates approved by the ECB.
