Islamia University of Bahawalpur Tender for IT Equipment and Stationery

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur invites sealed bids from GST- and Income Tax-registered manufacturers, firms, authorized distributors, dealers and general order suppliers for the supply of miscellaneous items to different departments on an FOR basis.

Quantities and specifications are included in the tender documents. Interested bidders can download the documents, including detailed specifications, terms and conditions, from the university website at www.iub.edu.pk, the PPRA website at www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk, or E-Procurement.

Bidders must upload an unobscured photocopy of the 2% bid security, issued in favour of Treasurer IUB, on E-Procurement. The original hard copy must also be submitted one day before the closing date to the Procurement Section, Accounts Department, Abbasia Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The single-stage, single-envelope bidding procedure will be followed under PPRA Rules. Rates must include all taxes, and a copy of the paid professional tax bank challan must be provided. All prevailing taxes, including income tax and sales tax, will apply under government rules and regulations.

Bids must be submitted through E-Procurement on or before 2 December 2026 at 11:00 AM. Tenders will be opened on E-Procurement at 11:30 AM on the same date. Bidders must quote for the entire quantity of each lot; bids for partial quantities will be rejected. Offered rates must remain valid for 90 days from the tender opening date.

The procuring agency may reject all bids or proposals at any time before accepting a bid or proposal. On request, it will communicate the grounds for rejection to any bidder but is not required to justify those grounds. In the event of a closure or forced holiday, tender opening will take place on the next working day.
