WASA Multan Commercial Property Lease Auction at Old Burger King Site, Gulgasht Colony

Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Multan invites applications from reputed national and multinational companies, corporate business groups, franchise operators, commercial chains and other financially sound business entities to participate in an open public auction for leasing its commercial property at the Old Burger King Site, Gulgasht Colony, Brand Road, Multan.

Property and Lease Details

Eligible Participants

Participation is open to national companies, multinational companies, corporate business groups, public limited companies, private limited companies, franchise operators of national and international brands, retail and commercial chains, restaurant and food chains, fashion and lifestyle brands, electronics and consumer product brands, and other commercially established business entities.

Mandatory Requirements

Participants must have at least three years of documented business operations and a presence in at least two cities of Pakistan through branch offices, franchises, company-owned outlets, regional offices or commercial facilities.

Participants must be financially sound organizations, supported by audited financial statements for the last three years, annual accounts, corporate financial reports or a bank certificate. An affidavit must confirm that the bidder has not been blacklisted by any government department, autonomous body, regulatory authority or public-sector organization.

Required Documents

Interested participants must submit a company registration certificate, NTN certificate, active taxpayer certificate, authority letter or nomination of an authorized representative, evidence of operations in multiple cities, affidavit of non-blacklisting, and bid security of Rs. 1,000,000.

Bid Security

Each participant must furnish bid security of Rs. 1,000,000 (one million rupees) in the form of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), pay order, demand draft or banker's cheque, drawn in favour of WASA Multan.

Auction Schedule

Lease and Auction Conditions

Only registered and eligible participants may take part in the auction. Original documents must be produced at registration. Bidding will begin at the reserve monthly rent of Rs. 1,000,000, and the highest bid will be subject to approval of the competent authority.

The successful bidder must furnish performance security equivalent to three months of the offered rent before execution of the lease agreement with WASA Multan. The premises must be used exclusively for lawful commercial activities. The successful bidder must pay rent and all applicable taxes on time, maintain the property in good condition, and comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations. Subletting, transfer or assignment of the property requires prior written approval from WASA.

WASA reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, postpone or cancel the auction process, reject the highest bid without assigning any reason, or re-auction the property as deemed appropriate.
