Punjab Highway Department Tender: Widening of Bridge on Link Canal, Kasur

Issuer: Punjab Highway Department – Executive Engineer, Highways Division Kasur. E-tenders are invited from eligible engineering firms/contractors registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category (Bridge Structures / Piling) and registered on the Punjab e-procurement portal.

Key requirements and submission instructions:

• All firms must participate through PPRA E-Tendering. Registration details and procedures are available on the Punjab e-procurement / PPRA websites.
• Earnest money (Bid Security): ONLY in the form of CDR in favour of Executive Engineer Highways Division Kasur at 5% of the DNIT (estimated) cost. Scanned CDR must be uploaded on the e-procurement portal and the original CDR must reach the Executive Engineer's office before bid opening. Other forms of bid security will not be accepted.
• Successful bidder must provide Performance Guarantee of 10% of contract amount within 15 days of receipt of the offer. Acceptable forms: CDR, Bank Draft, Banker’s Cheque, Pay Order or Bank Guarantee valid for three months beyond the completion/extended completion period. 10% performance guarantee is mandatory for all successful bidders irrespective of contract value.
• Completion period and other conditions are per DNIT. Rates must be quoted against each item; conditional bids or unacceptable formats may be rejected. Bid validity and other standard PPRA terms apply.
• Submission / Opening: Bids to be uploaded to the Punjab e-procurement/PPRA portal. Uploaded bids will be opened publicly at the specified date and time; contractors or their authorized representatives may attend.
