Issuer: Water & Sanitation Services Peshawar (WSSP), Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. WSSP invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from reputable firms, joint ventures or consortiums to prequalify and engage a Concessionaire for a Resource Recovery Project to process municipal solid waste from the Shamshatoo Landfill Site, Peshawar, on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis under a Design-Build-Finance-Operate-Transfer (DBFOT) arrangement.
Scope & purpose: Sustainable waste processing and resource recovery facility to reduce landfill waste, recover recyclable materials, generate energy and extend landfill lifespan; concession to design, finance, construct, operate and maintain the facility and transfer to WSSP on completion of the concession period, in line with the KP PPP Act and KP PPP (Selection of Private Partner) Rules, 2021.
