Public Notice: RAK Ceramics Trademark Restraint Order (Lahore)

Issuer: RAK Ceramics PJSC (Ras Al Khaimah, UAE). Registered proprietor in Pakistan of the trademarks “RAK”, “RAK CERAMICS” and “RAK PORCELAIN”. The company has filed suit for trademark infringement, passing off and unfair competition before the Intellectual Property Tribunal, Punjab, Lahore.

By order dated 2005-11-13, the Tribunal has restrained the following parties (and all persons acting through or under them) from using the trademarks “RAK” or any identical or deceptively similar mark in relation to tiles, ceramics, sanitaryware or allied products:

RAK Ceramics emphasises that it will take all necessary actions against any person or entity that uses its name, trademarks or products unlawfully. The company does not permit the unauthorised manufacture, sale or use of RAK-branded or deceptively similar products and will initiate legal proceedings against infringers.

Warning: Any person dealing in counterfeit or infringing “RAK” branded products sourced from the restrained parties may face legal consequences. Genuine RAK products are available only through the authorised distributor listed below:
