PASSCO Invitation to Bid: Sale of 8,197.989 MT (+15%) Damaged Wheat

Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Limited (PASSCO) invites sealed bids for the sale of 8,197.989 M.Tons (+15%) of damaged wheat (unfit / not safe for human consumption) on an "As is, Where is" basis, lying at various PASSCO zones. Bids must follow the terms and conditions in the tender document.

Key conditions:

• Sale basis: As is, Where is; material unfit for human consumption.
• Bid price: bidders shall quote rates in Rupees per Metric Ton inclusive of all taxes and duties but exclusive of labour, filling, loading/unloading and handling charges.
• Bid security: must be submitted for each centre in the form of Pay Order / Demand Draft / Banker’s Cheque issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of PASSCO. Cash, cheque, Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), Security Deposit Receipt (SDR) or Bank Guarantee will not be accepted.
• Bid document purchase: mandatory purchase of the bid document on payment of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) in cash from the Account Officer of the concerned PASSCO Zonal Office; proof of purchase must be submitted with the bid. The bid document is also available for information on PPRA and PASSCO websites.
• Bid validity: Bids shall remain valid for sixty (60) days from the opening date.
• Submission: Signed and sealed bids, complete in all respects, must be submitted to the concerned Zonal Head / Supervisory Officer (Damaged Wheat) and placed in the bid box at the respective PASSCO Zonal Office. Exact submission and opening dates/times for each lot are provided in the tender document.
