Khyber Pakhtunkhwa C&W Division Malakand — E-PADS Tender Notice (Closing 2020-07-16)

Executive Engineer, Communication & Works (C&W) Division Malakand invites electronic bids from eligible firms/contractors through the E-PADS Single Stage Single Envelope system under KPPRA Procurement Rules 2014 for priority development works (Chief Minister Directive / District Development Initiative Fund).

- Bid security and additional security rules: Contractors quoting up to 10% below the Engineer's estimate shall submit bid security at 2% of the Engineer's estimate. Contractors quoting more than 10% and up to 20% below must submit an additional security (in addition to the 2% bid security) equal to 8% of the Engineer's estimate. Bids without required securities will be declared non-responsive and applicable securities may be forfeited. Detailed conditions are in the bidding documents.

- CDR/Tender fee: Details concerning submission of CDR (payable to the Executive Engineer), tender fee and acceptable forms (Call Deposit of scheduled bank) are stated in the bidding documents; original CDR must be submitted to the office before the tender closing time as specified. No pay order or bank draft will be acceptable in lieu of the required Call Deposit where specified.

- Other important conditions: Contractors must upload the complete bid/BOQ electronically and quote rates online. Electronic bids will be displayed 30 minutes after closing. The procuring entity reserves the right to reject any or all E-bids. Bid validity and other standard terms are specified in the bidding documents.
