District Council Vehari Tender Notice – Development Works (Bids due 2026-09-26)

Office of the District Council Vehari invites electronic bids from eligible contractors/firms through the Punjab e-Procurement System for the listed development works for the Financial Year 2026-27. Bidders must meet eligibility criteria and be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for FY 2026-27 where applicable. Procurement will be conducted in accordance with the Punjab Procurement Rules, 2014.

- Submission method: Electronic submission only via the Punjab e-Procurement System (PPRA/Punjab e-Procurement website).

- Submission deadline: 2026-09-26 by 13:00 hrs. (1:00 PM).

- Bid opening: 2026-09-26 at 13:30 hrs (1:30 PM) at the Office of the District Council Vehari (bids will be opened electronically; authorized representatives may attend).

Financial & guarantee requirements

- Bid Security: 5% of the estimated cost to be submitted as a Digital Bank Guarantee (e-Bank Guarantee) through the Punjab e-Procurement System at the time of bidding. Bank guarantee must be issued and transmitted per system instructions.

- Performance Security: Successful bidder shall furnish a Performance Security equal to 5% of the Contract Price through SWIFT MT760 in favour of the Chief Officer, District Council Vehari (SWIFT MT760 must be dispatched as specified).

- Bid validity: Bids shall remain valid for 60 days from the date of opening unless otherwise specified in the bidding documents.

Eligibility & other conditions

- Contractors/firms must be registered with PEC for the relevant category for FY 2026-27 and meet all eligibility requirements in the bidding documents.

- Bidders must submit exactly as per instructions on the Punjab e-Procurement portal; manual bids or bids submitted outside the portal will be rejected.

- Incomplete, conditional or non-responsive bids will be rejected. The District Council reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with procurement rules.
