The Directorate of Higher Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an absence notice to Ms. Shafqat Ara, Associate Professor (BPS-19) at Govt. Postgraduate College for Women, Mardan. She was on medical leave for the periods 08-09-2025 to 11-10-2025 (34 days) and 12-10-2025 to 16-10-2025 (66 days) but did not rejoin duty after the leave expired. Principal-served notices dated 24-01-2026 and 14-02-2026 and registered notices from the Directorate dated 28-04-2026 and 01-06-2026 have not been complied with.
Ms. Shafqat Ara is directed to report for duty and explain her absence within 15 days of this notice’s issuance; failure to do so will be treated as relinquishment of service and may result in ex-parte action including removal/dismissal.
