Independent System & Market Operator of Pakistan (Guarantee) Limited (ISMO) invites applications for the position of Chief Internal Auditor on a contract basis. ISMO seeks a dynamic, qualified and experienced professional to lead internal audit, risk and compliance functions and support governance through effective audit practices.

| Purpose / Key Responsibilities | Evaluate accounting, financial, credit and operational activities as an independent appraisal function; review adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operational controls; formulate internal audit programs; develop and lead an effective team of auditors; liaise with external and commercial auditors; coordinate with the Audit Committee and Board; undertake special audits and investigations; evaluate design and effectiveness of compliance functions. |
| Eligibility / Qualifications | Member of a recognized professional accounting body qualifying CA / CPA / ACMA / ACCA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed local or international university/institute. |
| Experience | Minimum 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management or executive-level roles with demonstrated expertise in auditing and risk management, designing internal control procedures, and compliance in public/private sector (understanding of governance, risks and controls in SOEs or public sector projects). |
| Fit & Proper | Candidate must meet Fit & Proper criteria as defined under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023. |
| Compensation & Benefits | Attractive remuneration commensurate with qualifications, experience and responsibilities; performance-based incentives, medical coverage and other benefits as per Company policy and Board approval. |
