National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), Headquarter Islamabad, invites applications for the post of Assistant Director (Network Engineer - Core Networks). Suitable candidates with relevant education and network operations experience are encouraged to apply online.

Position Assistant Director (Network Engineer - Core Networks)
Location Islamabad (NADRA Headquarters)
Age Limit Maximum 37 years
Education Bachelor's (4 years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field (degree must be attested by HEC).
Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in network operations.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
  • Expertise with Layer 2/3 switches, core firewalls, WAF, and IDS/IPS.
  • Manage and troubleshoot core network elements and services; network optimization, bandwidth monitoring, DoS mitigation, SLA monitoring, preventive maintenance and incident management.
  • Implementation, commissioning and RMA processes for network hardware; ensure cabling and equipment mounting standards.
  • Redundancy testing, backups and restoration verification; implement information security tasks including encryption and firewalling.
  • Maintain documentation (SOPs, IP schemes, engineering drawings, manuals); manage inventory and vendor SLAs; coordinate with HQ, audit and other teams.
  • Provide 24/7 support (including shift and weekend availability); strong communication, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
