| Educational / Professional Qualification | Minimum Graduation (or equivalent) from an HEC-recognized institute. Master's degree and/or professional qualifications such as ACA / ACCA / CFA (in the respective field) preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 08 years of banking experience in Branch Audit and/or Management Audit and/or Operations Audits and/or Business and Assets Risk Review. |
| Key skills & knowledge | Well-versed with internal audit practices and regulatory guidelines; strong business communication, presentation and analytical skills; proficiency in MS Office, Visio, SAP and Core Banking applications; ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; ability to coordinate with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) inspection teams. |
| Main responsibilities | Coordinate SBP inspections and A&IG groups; manage responses to SBP observations and ensure timely submission; review and validate SBP observations including para-wise and significant issues; liaise with internal divisions to finalize SBP observation reporting and obtain internal audit sign-off; submit quarterly compliance/ status updates to Compliance Group; coordinate regulatory and operational verifications; maintain custody and records; update risk register and MIS; act as focal person with law enforcement agencies; and other assignments as directed by management. |
