WASA Bahawalpur Tender: Rehabilitation/Improvement of Sewerage & Drainage System from Library Chowk to Khatam-e-Nabouat Chowk

Issuer: Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Bahawalpur. Sealed/e-procurement tenders are invited from engineering firms/contractors registered with Pakistan Engineering Council and on the Punjab PPRA e-Procurement portal for the rehabilitation and improvement of the sewerage and existing drainage system from Library Chowk to Khatam-e-Nabouat Chowk, Bahawalpur.

Key conditions: registration with PEC in relevant category/codes; registration on the Punjab PPRA website (https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk); bid security of 5% of estimated cost to be submitted digitally via PSID (link with BOP) in favour of Director Finance, WASA Bahawalpur; no physical bid securities will be accepted. The lowest evaluated bidder shall submit a quality assurance/performance security of 10% of the contract amount within 15 days of issuance of letter by Deputy Director (Engg), WASA Bahawalpur, through digital online payment (Link with BOP) in favour of Director Finance, WASA Bahawalpur, valid for six months beyond completion time/extended completion time. Submission of 10% quality assurance/performance security through digital online payment is mandatory for successful bidders. Bidders must quote item rates against each item as well as total amounts; rates below estimated/DNIT cost will not be considered.

All bids/proposals to be uploaded on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Contractors may attend the office of the Deputy Director (Engg), inside BDA Complex, Thana Baghdad Road, Bahawalpur on the opening date when responsive bids will be downloaded and quoted rates of successful bidders will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee. Any false/bogus documents (e.g., bid security, performance security/guarantee, PEC license) may lead to disqualification and disciplinary proceedings. The procuring agency may reject any or all bids under Clause-35 of PPRA Rules.
