WAPDA Town Lahore Tender for Road Rehabilitation and Construction Works

WAPDA Employees Cooperative Housing Society (WECHS) Ltd., Lahore, invites sealed bids for road rehabilitation and construction works in WAPDA Town. Bidding will follow the single-stage, two-envelope procedure. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council in category C-4 or above.

The works include earthworks, granular sub-base, water-bound macadam, bituminous carpeting, kerbstones, lane markings, cat eyes and related road infrastructure works, subject to the requirements of the bidding documents.

Bidders may submit bids for one or more jobs, with a separate bid for each job. Each contract will be awarded to the most advantageous substantially responsive bidder.

Bidding documents may be purchased from the office of the Secretary, WECHS, during working hours by submitting a written application and paying the non-refundable tender fee for the relevant job.

Each bid must include the prescribed bid security in Pakistani rupees, in the form of a call deposit receipt, bank draft or pay order issued by a scheduled bank in favour of WECHS Lahore. The security must remain valid for at least 28 days beyond the bid validity period. Bids must remain valid for 60 days from the bid-opening date, and quoted prices must include all applicable taxes.

Bids must be delivered to the office of the Secretary, WECHS, by 11:00 a.m. Opening will take place at 11:30 a.m. on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids will not be accepted.
