GEPCO Tender Notice – 132 kV Transmission Line Works (Gujranwala)

Gujranwala Electric Power Company (GEPCO) invites sealed tenders for construction, shifting and foundation works for 132 kV double-circuit transmission lines and associated tower foundations. Bidders must be registered with PEC and comply with PPRA procedures. Tender documents are available via E-Pads (new version 2.0) and GEPCO website. Submission and opening will take place on the dates below at the Project Director (GSC), GEPCO Gujranwala office.

Bid submission date & time: 2026-08-28 at 11:00 Hrs.  |  Bid opening date & time: 2026-08-28 at 11:30 Hrs.

Eligibility & key conditions:

• Valid PEC registration renewal for year 2025-26 under the codes stated in the table.
• Minimum average annual turnover with Tax return from FBR as per tender BOQ for last 2 years (as verified by certified auditor).
• Current bank statement & proof of experience: contractor must submit experience certificates showing at least 02 no. valid work orders or cumulative cost equal to or more than 100% of BOQ amount or work completion certificates issued from work order issuing authority for executing work during last 05 years.
• Original bid security (earnest money) valid for 120 days in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Order/CDR/Bank Guarantee from a scheduled bank in Pakistan equal to 2% of BOQ cost.
• Successful bidder to submit performance security equal to 10% of Contract Price in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Order/CDR/Bank Guarantee after issuance of LOI.
• Contractors must attach active registration certificates (PRA for PST) with the bid and submit company profile and evidence of transmission line work for last five years.
• Authority letter on PKR 1,000 judicial stamp paper required for contractor representatives to receive tender documents/participate.
• Tender offers must be in figures and words, signed as per instructions; cutting/overwriting not allowed.
• Tendering procedure: Single Stage Two Envelope as per PPRA rules and tender will be opened through E-Pads (version 2.0).
