PASSCO Invitation to Bid: Sale of 8,197.989 MT Damaged Wheat (As Is Where Is)

Issuer: Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation Limited (PASSCO). PASSCO invites sealed bids for the sale of 8,197.989 M.Tons (+15%) of damaged wheat (unfit / not safe for human consumption) lying at various PASSCO zones on an "As Is Where Is" basis, subject to the conditions of the bid document.

Key sale and bidding conditions:

- Quantity offered: 8,197.989 M.Tons (+15%).

- Sale basis: "As Is Where Is"; material is unfit for human consumption.

- Bid security: Required for each centre; must be a Pay Order, Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan in favour of PASSCO. Cash, personal cheque, Call Deposit Receipt (CDR), Security Deposit Receipt (SDR) or Bank Guarantee are not acceptable and will result in rejection of the bid.

- Bid document: Can be viewed at PPRA and PASSCO websites for information. Purchase of the bid document is mandatory for participation: non-refundable fee Rs. 3,000 (in cash) from the Account Officer of the concerned PASSCO Zonal Office. Proof of purchase must be submitted with the bid.

- Bid validity: Sixty (60) days from the opening date of the bid.

- Submission: Signed and sealed bids, complete in all respects and addressed to the concerned Zonal Head / Supervisory Officer (Damaged Wheat) of the respective zone, must be submitted in the bid box placed at the respective PASSCO Zonal Offices on or before the dates/times specified by each zone.

- Further information: Available from the office of General Manager (Commercial), PASSCO Head Office, and the concerned Zonal Head / Supervisory Officer (Damaged Wheat) during office hours (0800–1600).
