Tender Notice: Supply of Improved/Hybrid Vegetable Seeds & Transportation of Wheat Seed — Directorate of Agriculture, Baltistan Region

Directorate of Agriculture, Baltistan Region (Government of Gilgit‑Baltistan) invites sealed bids from registered and eligible firms/suppliers/contractors for procurement under CM Block allocation for Financial Year 2026-27.

Key terms:

- Sealed bids must reach the office of the Director Agriculture Baltistan Region, Skardu on or before 2026-10-19 at 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

- Bidders shall submit the prescribed Call Deposit / Bid Security from a scheduled bank along with the bid as specified in the bidding documents, in favour of Director Agriculture Baltistan Region. The bidder/firm name and the lot number must be clearly written on the front of the sealed envelope.

- Bidding documents and bid forms containing detailed specifications, quantities, terms and conditions may be obtained from the office during official working hours after depositing the prescribed non-refundable bidding document fee in the Government Treasury.

- Procurement will be conducted through the Single Stage–Two Envelope Bidding Procedure. Firms with relevant experience of the same nature of work will be preferred.

- Tender validity: up to 2027-06-30. No escalation or increase in rates will be admissible during the contract period. Successful bidder will be responsible for delivery and completion at the specified location(s) at its own cost throughout the financial year and when required by the procuring agency.

- Partial, conditional, incomplete and blank bids will be rejected. The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason. Supply orders will be issued according to availability of funds. Matters not specifically covered will be dealt with according to applicable procurement rules and government instructions.
