IESCO E-Auction of Redundant Transmission Line Materials – Lots 57–61/2025

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites bids through open auction on E-PADS v2.0 for five lots of redundant overhead transmission line materials under Tender No. 92. The materials are held by the XEN SS&TL Division, IESCO, Rajjar.

Bids will be received until 10:30 a.m. on 19 November 2026 and opened at 11:00 a.m. on the same day. IESCO's Disposal Committee will open and evaluate the bids, and the results will be communicated through the IESCO and PPRA websites.

Materials offered for disposal: All quantities below are in kilograms.

Online bidding: Interested bidders must apply through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS) Portal v2.0 at www.vendor.epads.gov.pk/login and upload all mandatory information required by the bidding documents.

Bid security: Submit the original earnest money or bid security for each lot in a sealed envelope before the bid closing time. Security must be a CDR or bank guarantee issued by a scheduled bank in Pakistan, valid for 120 days, in favour of the Chief Executive Officer, IESCO, Islamabad.

Inspection and condition of sale: The auction is on an “as is where is” basis. Bidders may inspect the transmission lines at their own cost during office hours until 18 November 2026 by coordinating with XEN SS&TL Division, Rajjar, at 0319-5990729.

Bid validity and payment: Bids must remain valid for 120 days from the open auction date. The successful bidder must deposit the total amount within 21 working days of issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. Payment for a successful lot will be accepted only through a CDR in favour of the Chief Executive Officer, IESCO, submitted with the cover note from the Office of the Finance Director, IESCO.

Dismantling and collection: The successful bidder must dismantle the redundant transmission lines at their own cost and collect the material within 35 working days from issuance of the Release Order.

Registration and taxes: FBR registration is mandatory, and bidders must be active taxpayers. Applicable taxes are payable over and above the accepted bid, including 18% GST, where applicable, 10% income tax, and any other tax levied by the government during the disposal contract.

Undertaking: Each bidder must submit and upload an undertaking on Rs. 100 judicial stamp paper, Annexure A, duly signed and stamped, along with the sealed bid security before the bid closing time.

IESCO reserves the right to accept, reject or cancel bids, or any part thereof, at any stage.
